NURSERY

The Nursery is a private daytime service that welcomes children aged 3 to 36 months until the conclusion of the educational year, with a current maximum capacity of 16 children. 

Service mission and goals

  • to promote a culture attentive to the rights of childhood;
  • to foster, in collaboration with the family, the growth and harmonious psychophysical and social development of the children attending the service;
  • to guarantee that spaces, equipment, systems, furnishings, and toys are suitable, functional, and safe;
  • to ensure the professionalism of the staff through continuous updating and training activities;
  • to offer children a place for education, care, and socialisation for their psychophysical well-being and for the development of their cognitive, emotional, and social potential;
  • to assist in the temporary separation of the child from the parent figure;
  • to foster the internalisation of rules and coexistence;
  • to encourage the acquisition of motor and manual skills;
  • to support the positive resolution of conflicts;
  • to promote situations of cooperation;
  • to support families in the care of their children and in educational choices.

Targeted activities

The non-targeted activity has a particular educational value and consists in offering children the possibility to play freely and as they please;

The targeted activities are didactic activities designed within the work plans. Their purpose is to promote the development of skills while respecting growth:

  • psychomotor activity;

  • manipulation activities;

  • graphic-pictorial and expressive activities;

  • activities for language development;

  • games and activities for the development of symbolic thought;

  • constructive activities.
