The preschool: a bridge to the future
Our preschool welcomes children aged 3 to 6 years and is committed to providing a harmonious and holistic education. Our mission is to support every child in their growth, with full respect for the appreciation of their development rhythms, individual abilities and differences, always in close partnership with families.
Activities: dynamic and flexible learning
Our teaching approach is designed to meet the needs and rhythms of every child, combining guided instruction with freedom of exploration.

An environment for discovery and conscious growth
The Pecchio Preschool is not just a service, but a dynamic educational environment where learning happens through experience. We integrate the different forms of doing, feeling, acting and communicating into a unified process, helping children to:
live concrete experiences that lead to reflective learning;
develop an appreciation for beauty and confer a personal meaning to reality.
We position ourselves as a pluralistic institution and promote the holistic education of personality. We help children become active and conscious subjects, capable of interpreting the world around them in a personal and creative way.
Core learning outcomes
The program is aimed at the progressive achievement of autonomy and the strengthening of fundamental skills:
Personal autonomy: we support children in the progressive achievement of independence.
Consolidation of skills: we strengthen sensory, perceptive, motor and linguistic abilities.
Construction of reality: we stimulate the first forms of experience reorganisation and reality reconstruction.
Expression and relationship: through playing, we stimulate the communication (including the use of complex verbal language), affective and emotional dynamics and imagination.

Flexibility and interaction
Learning never occurs in a rigid manner; the activities are proposed with great flexibility, alternating crucial moments of growth:
Teamwork or individual activities to stimulate collaboration and autonomy.
Free activities with non-structured materials, where the child's creativity is the true guide.
Guided activities led by the teacher to consolidate specific concepts.
Interaction in pairs or small groups, including children of different ages, to foster exchange and mutual learning.
The role of playing and discovery
Through carefully chosen materials and the use of storytelling, the teacher stimulates the activation of all cognitive and emotional functions:
Cognitive development: children are encouraged in the memorisation of instrumental skills, the application of already known concepts and differences.
Expression and language: experiences are always valued through verbalisation and dramatisation.
Motivation and knowledge: the activities are often introduced by conversations with the teacher. These exchanges are essential for understanding children's prior knowledge, motivating subsequent discovery and reordering learned concepts, thus transforming play into conscious learning.
The free playing remains the main driving force of every day: it is the moment when every child expresses their personality and imagination.
